Vera Vasilyeva
Chair of the Student Jury

Born in Mytishchi, Moscow region. In 2014, she graduated from the Music College named after Gnesins, majoring in Electric Guitar; toured with a musical group. In 2021, she graduated with honours from VGIK, Directing Department (workshop of A.Eshpai). Vera won the “Perspective” prize at the 41st VGIK International Student Film Festival and a diploma “For the expressiveness of film language.” Laureate and participant of many festivals, including MIFF, Shukshinsky, Kinoshok, Street Film Festival, Shnit, SIFF and others. Vera’s graduation film “Red, Yellow, Green” was highly praised by the professional community. As a director Vera participated in the making of “Friend Zone” series for the START platform; wrote music for several feature films, and worked on television; she is now preparing to shoot her feature-length debut based on her own script.

Anna Grigorieva

Born in Moscow. In 2020, she graduated from MGIMO University of the Russian Foreign Ministry with a degree in “Politics of the Near and Middle East”. She entered cinema in 2022, making the short film “Requiem” based on the memories of Anna Akhmatova. The film received recognition at the Kazan IFF and at the international short film festival Short Shot fest in 2023. In May 2023, she entered the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors named after G. Daneliya (workshop of V.Khotinenko, V.Fenchenko, P.Finn).

Elizaveta Minina

Born in Moscow. Has been shooting clay pigeons since the age of 14. In 2021, she was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Russia in clay pigeon shooting (in the Sporting-Compact discipline). In 2022, she entered the Higher School of Television of Lomonosov Moscow State University. She participates in filming reports for her faculty, and also makes short films and posts them on her YouTube channel. Her first major independent project was a short documentary film “They Are Invited to the Site...”.

Ksenia Panaeva

She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University specializing in “Fundamental and Applied Linguistics”. She is a second-year master’s student at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in the field of Film Production, specializing in Directing. Her internship took place in the production department of Kinoteatr.ru, where she participated in the filming of the short film “Once Upon a Time in Vyatka” (second place at the ArtMasters championship of creative competencies in the “Film” category).

Anna Penkova

In 2018, she entered the Directing Department at the Institute of Contemporary Art. Then she entered the Moscow Art Theatre School. Works on film and theatre projects. Since 2021, she has been producing films and television series. She worked as part of the production departments of the following companies: 1-2-3 Production, Team Films, Panic Production. She also worked as a producer of original short films for students from the workshops of Ivan I. Tverdovsky at the Higher School of Economics, Pavel Bardin and Alexei Popogrebsky at the Moscow Film School.

Anastasia Kamenskaya

Born in Moscow. In 2019, she entered GITIS, Production Department (workshop of K.Krok). Currently is a 5th year student. During her studies, she produced several short films, the latest of which “Hypnos” (directed by Apollinaria Gribkova) became a participant of the out-of-competition programme at the “Koroche” festival. General producer assistant at “Fresh Film” film company. Manager of the 17th International Tchaikovsky Competition. Curator of the theatre festival “Golden Mask” (2023). Engaged in practical activities in the field of theatre and festival management.
